It's February, and we seem to be having some late winter weather, but the spring bulbs are still cropping up everywhere....I have daffodils in my yard, with tulips and irises on the way.

And spring bulbs means spring cleaning! So bring the fibers from the guild project that you won't be using to trade at our own little fair this Wednesday....swap for the color that you also really need....

Our own Vilija Deutschmann will also be demonstrating how to dress a distaff with linen as well, so that we can start spinning linen for our summer garments.

Black Sheep Gathering has put up their workshop schedule as well. So take a look and start planning now while you can get hotel reservations and make your travel arrangements. Will and Kate were discussing putting together a team for the BSG Sheep to Shawl....we need at least 8 people to participate in that, including a weaver. If you are thinking that you may be going to Eugene, please let us know if you can spin for the Treadles to Threads team!

Last but not least, if you went to Stitches West (and you know who you are!) be sure to bring your ill-boughten goodies for a small show and tell.
