NEXT MEETING:
APRIL 29, 2009, 7:30 PM, a the Winslow Center
Maybe a couple of you will just be back from the CNCH Conference by this meeting. If you're one of the lucky ones going to that workshop retreat conference in Sonoma, you should come back with lots of ideas regarding spinning and related fiber arts. This month's meeting will be a great time to do some planning for the upcoming year.
Bring your wheel to this meeting as we'll have a spin-in & planning session.
We have worked around a theme some years and it was usually quite successful at motivating creativity and projects. Can you think of something that would be interesting for our "new year" which will begin in August. Even if you have an idea for just one meeting, that would be great. There are several ideas and thoughts going around, but there's always room for more ideas to get the planning going. What do you want to see more of, what do you want to learn more about?
DATES TO REMEMBER:
MAY 27, the last "official" meeting of the year [till August] at the Winslow Center. This meeting will have a slide show and show & tell of interesting sightings in Scotland. Some of our members are on Nadine Sanders' fiber arts related tour of Scotland as you read this [remember the "Singing Weaver"?].
